Insoo, a leading player in smart office systems was looking for an integrated software solution to enable smart office features that could offer single point transparency and control for users. The company had an expansive presence and offered services to various organizations which included commercial buildings and government departments. Quite expectedly the proposed smart office system needed to be technologically efficient and offer a composite view of every connected asset. That apart the system needed to be secure and robust.

After thoroughly understanding the requirements, we considered building a system that could seamlessly integrate several IoT devices and offer proper visualization. The end solution was designed to work efficiently on both web and mobile apps.

Using the best practices of IoT development and UI/UX design, we planned for the integration of several devices under one application. We connected nine distinct devices (Just for phase#1) which included attendance machine, doors, electric shutter, lamps, printer, photocopy, fax, parking access control and even the coffee machine under one application suite. The application interface allowed users to control every device remotely and customize the settings for each of them in an effortless manner. It was now possible to remotely set the lighting, adjust the temperature, and secure doors while you enter or exit your office. In fact, an executive can order the coffee machine to brew coffee and find it ready by the time he reaches the machine.

The solution created by us implemented the best mix of technology features available to integrate IoT devices on a cloud-based solution. Data streams from sensors were securely transferred to the cloud and intelligent logic was built for managing the sensors, often in conjunction with one another. We also worked on creating distinct and easy to use interfaces for web and apps.

Our Smart Office Solution has allowed several advantages for the end-users. From helping them seamlessly manage several functions to saving valuable time and resources. Significant improvements in the work environment were noticed wherever our solution was deployed. Office managers and executives were able to save valuable time which was otherwise spent on doing mundane tasks. More importantly, noticeable savings were made on energy costs in many cases.
